When choosing the material for a centrifugal fan, the following factors should be considered:
1. Working environment: Different environments have different requirements for the material of the fan. If the fan is used for ordinary ventilation and exhaust systems, carbon steel fans are usually sufficient and relatively inexpensive. For humid or corrosive gas environments, stainless steel or aluminum alloy fans are more suitable; For extremely corrosive environments such as chemical plants or acidic and alkaline gases, plastic (such as PVC, PP) or composite material (FRP) fans can provide better corrosion resistance.

2. High temperature resistance: If the fan needs to work in a high-temperature environment (such as boiler fans or high-temperature gas transportation), materials that can withstand high temperatures, such as stainless steel or cast iron, should be selected. Aluminum alloy is suitable for low-temperature environments, but its high-temperature resistance is limited.

3. Fan load: The greater the load on the fan, the higher the strength requirements for the material. For heavy-duty and high-pressure fans, cast iron or stainless steel are more suitable because these materials have strong compressive and impact resistance.

4. Economy: Carbon steel fans are relatively cost-effective and suitable for general ventilation needs; Stainless steel fans and plastic fans are relatively expensive, but their corrosion resistance and longer service life make them suitable for special environments.

In summary, the selection of materials for centrifugal fans should be comprehensively considered based on the usage environment, load requirements, temperature resistance requirements, and budget.
